Last Friday, I went out with some friends to celebrate the start of Fall break.
First, while some of them had dinner and some wine at a restaurant called Dos Perros, I got a superb old-fashioned (prepared by a friend of mine who works as a bartender there, Enrico) and a Milk Stout. (I had already eaten dinner at home). Then, we continued the soirée at a bar called Alley Twenty Six where I noticed something really unexpected. Since the owner’s parents are from Peru, they brought Peruvian pisco to NC recently and thus the bar was offering a drink called Pisco Fizz (“Pisco, Pineapple Demerara, Lemon, Lime, Egg White, Soda & Angostura”, according to the description). I got one and it was so delicious that I asked the bartender if he knew how to make Pisco sour. Guess what he answered!…
