In October 2010 I visited NYC for the first time and took many photos to document such an experience. Washington Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island, Central Park, Fifth Avenue… Nowadays. if I had to save just one of the 127 pics from this trip I selected and posted on Facebook, I would definitely choose this one:
I like how the lines strongly converge towards the bridge. It was a sunny bright day so the photo involves a happy environment.
I went to NYC for the second time last weekend. I participated in a conference organized by the Renaissance Society of America and it was the perfect excuse to wander around the city and take photos of Brooklyn, Central Park, Strawberry Fields, and Williamsburg Bridge. It was also an opportunity to do a fun experiment: a metaphoto at Brooklyn Bridge!
It looks simple but I had to take several photos to finally come up with a decent final version! Also, it was rainy and windy so although it was lots of fun, it represented lots of work!
Have you ever done something similar, friends?…
